Football Christmas gift?

Do you think a Pro Football Hall of fame 2009 History Game Ball (from 's sporting goods) would make a good gift for a friend that really doesn't want anything but I really want to get him something? He is soo hard to shop for and I know he LOVES football, baseball and Hockey....steelers, yankees and NJ Devil's . What would you get him knowing this?
