How would you handle this situation?

I live in the country, about 6 miles from a one red-light town, on a 3.4 mile long road, which consist of almost all close family members (like 3 of the 25-30 houses r not family) and close friends of the family, and my house was broken into. they gently slid the 50 inch flat screen out to steal the playstation3. bad thing is, I know who done it, told the cops, and they have done nothing. dude lives right beside the jailhouse n town. point is, u r never safe. she worrys about u. but 19 year olds shouldn't have to call in n have a curfew ESPECIALLY A 9:00 CURFEW. plastic on the walls is strange. I suggest u look into mental conditions. paranoia. suggest an exterminator spray the house. may cost less than the saran wrap bill....
