How much is speeding ticket in Oakland?

I got my first speeding ticket last night on I80 when to line merge I tried to speed up so the car next to me won't run into me. The I got the ticket for driving 80 out of a 65 limit. Can any one tell me how much fine I am expecting to get and is there any way to avoid it? Thanks in advance
