Am i allergic to marijuana weed?

i have chronic bronchitis so i don't know if it has to do with this or what but after i smoke i start coughing so much and feel like i can't catch my breath. it happened today and i felt like every time i coughed it helped me breathe. i only took one hit but it was a really long hit, after that i just stopped. i couldn't even talk without coughing for like 5 minutes. i'm just getting over a sinus infection, could it have to do with this? or could it be that the weed was laced or just crappy?
