Besides pregnancy what could Cause A women to Miss Thier Period?

Last time i had was in december for january and feburary it came on the day before the last day of the month and went of the next day i didnt get my period in march or april i took a home test and it came up negative what does this mean could it be menopause even though im 19yrs old ????
